Family Blankets for Rory

Over the past two years, the Karyn Collection has donated a portion of its sales of beanie babies and other children's toys to the Rory David Deutsch Foundation. The result: 15,000 additional dollars that can be applied directly to understanding and treating pediatric brain-stem gliomas.

The Highland Park specialty gift shop, owned by Karyn and Marc Levy, is continuing its fundraising efforts in 2001 through the sales of its special family blanket. For each blanket sold, $25 will go to the Foundation. The unique "Happy Hearts and Happy Stars" fleece blanket can be customized with family members' names appliqued next to the hearts and stars.
