For three years now, the Karyn Collection in Highland Park has demonstrated how much it truly cares about the work of The Rory David Deutsch Foundation. This specialty gift shop, owned by Karyn and Marc Levy, has donated time, effort, and substantial funds to the Foundation.

2001 was no exception. The shop continued to offer a portion of its sales of Beanie Babies and other popular store items to the Foundation. The Levys have been kind and generous to pledge $2 from the sale of every cuddly Beanie Babie; $2 from each soft and cuddly Ty Pillow Pal, $1 from the sale of each Beanie Bopper doll, plus $25 from the sale of every "Happy Hearts and Happy Stars" fleece blanket. This blanket can be customized with family members' names appliqued next to the hearts and stars. There is also a drop in contribution box for those who don't want to make a purchase, but still want to show their support.

The result for 2001 was a very caring $1,265 donated to Rory's cause. Now, the campaign turns its attention to 2002 and anticipation for another year of meeting and exceeding expectations.
