New Partner Displays True Colors
on Behalf of Rory

The Rory David Deutsch Foundation is pleased to welcome a new partner in the battle against pediatric brain tumors. It's Campus Colors, the nation's largest retailer of collegiate licensed clothing and accessories in the country, representing over 250 colleges from coast to coast. The thriving business with locations in Highland Park, Hinsdale and Naperville will be taking an active role to help children everywhere afflicted with brain stem gliomas.

Owners, Barbara and Neil Rubenstein are behind the effort and are pleased to be taking part. They have some very colorful fundraising ideas, which will be implemented soon. “We're planning a major fundraising event which will be in February and March,” explains Barbara Rubenstein.

“We're excited because we'll be offering chances to win a #23 North Carolina basketball jersey signed by Michael Jordan himself. Any purchase over $50 will earn an entry in the raffle and a shot at taking the autographed jersey home. People who don't want to make a purchase can also buy one or more raffle tickets to show their support.” She notes that all raffle ticket proceeds, as well as a percentage of all sales from all three stores will be donated to the Foundation.

Barbara adds, “The event is being staged mid-February through mid-March to coincide with NCAA 'March Madness' so we can ride the wave of enthusiasm and ensure fund-raising success.”

Both Barbara and Neil were touched very deeply by stories of Rory's courage and greatly admire the devotion and dedication of everyone involved with the Foundation and its cause. “It has spread to an enormous family of people,” says Barbara “and I want to emphasize the family part. It's not just an association!” Beginning this February, march yourself over and get in on the colorful and well-meaning madness.
