Karyn Continues Collecting for Rory

Karyn and Mark Levy are entering their seventh year of support for The Rory David Deutsch Foundation. A portion of the sales from all TY products, which includes Beanie Babies and Beanie Boppers, at The Karyn Collection in Highland Park are donated to The Foundation.

“The Deutsch family has been customers of mine since we opened the store 25 years ago,” Karyn said. “My daughter started working in the store when she was 14 and one of her first customers was Mindy, who was pregnant with Rory at the time. We have a very personal commitment and connection to the family.”

The Karyn Collection features handcrafted children's toys, blankets, robes, kid-size furniture, room accessories, and unique gifts for adults. “Because we are primarily a children’s store, I believe in supporting fundraising for kids,” Karyn said. Since the Beanie Babies have waned in popularity, she is looking for a new opportunity to support brain stem glioma research. “I have a special place in my heart for the Deutsch family.”
