Santa Monica Entrepeneur Joins Fundraising Effort

Like Rory, Erica Corrigon lost her life to a brain stem glioma in the spring of 1999. To honor Erica's memory, close family friend, Laurie Snyder, clothing manufacture from Santa Monica, California, wanted to help the fight against this dreadful disease. Laurie was then put in touch with Ross Deutsch, who told her about the foundation that he and his family had established in Rory's memory.
As a result of this meeting, she designed a new print for her clothing line, Flap Happy. A percentage from the sale of each article of clothing, from this line, will be donated to the Rory David Deutsch Foundation in memory of Erica. The "Dogmatic" print that was created celebrates Erica's love of puppies and is featured on T-shirts, shorts, swimwear, headwear, dresses and rompers.
Launched in spring of 2000, this ongoing fund-raiser has begun with a $2,500 donation to the Foundation. For more information on the Dogmatic collection, please contact Flap Happy at 800/234-3527.
