Kids Walk for Rory, Raise $5,000 The second annual Kids Who Care walk on June 6 raised about $5,000 which was donated to Rory’s Foundation. As a tribute to Rory’s love of the solar system, the walk involved eight activity stations named for the planets. More than 150 kids sought sponsors for their participation in the event, created by the Indian Trail Parent/Teacher Organization. Kids at Indian Trail Elementary School in Highland Park walked in the second annual Kids Who Care event, raising money for the Rory David Deutsch Brain Tumor Research Program.
