Our New Slogan Takes Off “Small Planet: Kids making a difference” Since launching the Rory David Deutsch Foundation, almost every event or fund-raising effort has focused on children or included children as participants and fund-raisers. It only made sense to extend this constant “Kids” connection into the Foundation’s communication campaign and slogan. That’s how our new tagline, “Small Planet: Kids Making A Difference,” was born. As a legacy to Rory, the Small Planet theme will filter into all Foundation-sponsored events and serve as a continuing reminder to keep children the central focus of all the Foundation’s efforts. The Rory David Deutsch Foundation has been so inspired by the many ways children have been involved in fund-raising -- as participants in event fun, as actual fund-raisers themselves, and as beneficiaries of new medical findings to cure childhood brain tumors. This new Small Planet theme will also help remind event sponsors not only to involve children in the events, but also to teach them that they can make a difference in their communities through charitable fund-raising.
